As a little thank you for everything you do, we’re offering free day admission to teachers and TAs at both Eureka! venues this summer.
From Saturday 18 July to Monday 31 August 2026, teachers and teaching assistants can visit Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax or Eureka! Science + Discovery in Wirral for free.
Bring the family, enjoy a summer day out packed with hands-on fun, and give your teacher brain a well-earned play break.
How to claim your free visit
Simply book and pay online as usual for the rest of your family or group, but do not include yourself in the booking.
When you arrive, show your valid school/staff ID at the admissions desk and we’ll add your free day admission ticket there and then.
The rest of your group will receive their Annual Passes as normal.

The offer is available to teachers and teaching assistants with valid school/staff ID. - When is the offer available?
The offer runs from Saturday 18 July to Monday 31 August 2026, inclusive. - Which Eureka! venues are included?
The offer is available at both Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax and Eureka! Science + Discovery in Wirral. - Do I need to book my free teacher ticket online?
No. Please do not include yourself in the online booking. Book and pay for the rest of your family or group online as usual, then show your valid school/staff ID when you arrive. - What ID do I need to bring?
Please bring valid school/staff ID showing that you are a teacher or teaching assistant. - Can I use the offer more than once?
Yes. Eligible teachers and teaching assistants can visit for free as often as they like during the offer period, as long as they show valid ID each time. - Do my family members get in free too?
No. The free admission applies to the eligible teacher or teaching assistant only. All accompanying family members or guests must book and pay as usual. - Will I get an Annual Pass with my free ticket?
No. The free teacher/TA ticket is for day admission only. Paying members of your group will receive their Annual Passes as usual. - Can I claim the offer if I’ve already booked and paid for myself?
The offer cannot be applied retrospectively, so please do not include the eligible teacher or TA in your online booking. We’re not able to refund bookings already made. - Can I use the offer with another discount?
No. This offer cannot be used with any other discount, promotion or ticket offer.

- Offer applies to teachers and teaching assistants only.
- Valid school/staff ID must be shown at the admissions desk. Offer valid for the named person only.
- Valid from Saturday 18 July to Monday 31 August 2026, inclusive.
- Available at both Eureka! venues: Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax and Eureka! Science + Discovery in Wirral.
- Offer can only be redeemed in person on arrival.
- Offer can be redeemed an unlimited amount of times within the offer date range.
- The free ticket cannot be booked online.
- Accompanying family members or guests must book and pay as usual.
- Free admission applies to one eligible adult day ticket per teacher or teaching assistant, per visit.
- The free teacher/TA ticket is for day admission only and does not create an Annual Pass.
- The offer cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings or purchases.
- The offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for any other product, ticket or discount.
- Entry is subject to normal opening times and venue capacity.
