Additional activities designed specifically for families with early years children (i.e. your Little Explorers!)

This month’s theme is: Under the Sea 🌊

The objective of this Early Years theme is to help children develop an understanding of the world around them, including the diverse environments that make up our planet.

Exploring the sea and the life within it provides rich, multi-sensory learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage discovery, and support development across all areas of the Early Years curriculum.

During these sessions, children can:

  • Play with and learn about sea creatures in our rock pool tuff tray 🐚
  • Make your own paper plate jellyfish and give it tentacles 🪼
  • Find the numbers on the large plastic fish and retrieve them with the fishing rods 🎣
  • Match the sea creatures in this child-friendly card game 🃏
  • Feed the shark with the right numbered fish in this fun maths game 🦈

Whatever age or stage your early learners are at, there will be lots of engaging activities for them to be curious, to be playful and to have fun!
