This month’s theme is: People Who Help Us π§βπ€βπ§
The objective of this early year’s theme is to help children understand the world around them and those in our local community that play an important role. They will get the chance to explore various roles through role playing and games.
The theme also helps children appreciate the efforts of others, especially those who work hard to keep us safe, healthy, and cared for. It encourages kindness, cooperation and gratitude which are key values in personal and social development.
During these sessions, children can:
- Choose a career and decorate their person using the face templates π§βπ¨
What would you like to be when you grow up? - Practice their balancing skills using a selection of building materials π§±
- Figure out which career uses which tools in a fun matching game π
- Create their own stories and performances at the puppet theatre π
- Work a shift at the teddy bear hospital, filling in medical forms etc π§Έ
Whatever age or stage your early learners are at, there will be lots of engaging activities for them to be curious, to be playful and to have fun!
