Join us for a special day where no other educational groups are booked in!

This September, join us for one of our special Home Educator Days. On Thursday 24th September we won’t take ANY school bookings and we’ll be running additional learning activities – JUST for Home Educator families!

Please note that the museum is still open to the general public on these days. However, we are restricting visitor numbers to ensure that you can still have the best possible experience.

Our upcoming Home Educator Day theme is…

Fair Trade!

🗣️ Meet Fairtrade cocoa farmer Dora Atiiga from Ghana in a unique, interactive storytelling workshop about life as a cocoa farmer and the role of education in her community.
Times: 11:30am, 12:30pm & 2pm
Suitable for 5yrs+

🎨 Make with your hands at our mini workshop, making your very own friendship bracelet with beads and learn about the importance of Fairtrade.
Times: TBC
Suitable for 5yrs+

🍫 Get hands on with our partners at the Co-op, identifying Fairtrade produce and where it is grown, and learning about the journey of cocoa.

Non-Annual Pass Holders

Child aged 3-4 years – £9
Child aged 1-2 years – £5
Child aged under 1 year – FREE
One FREE adult for every paying child aged 5-11 years
Additional adult – £9
Essential carer – FREE (Evidence required e.g. DLA, PIP)

Annual Pass Holders

10% discount in the Gift Shop (only available during the Home Educator event)
10% discount off the Eureka! Annual Pass (this must be purchased before 3pm on the day)

Terms & Conditions:

To book on to the Home Educator event you must have at least one paying child aged 5 years or over.
Payment must be made at the time of booking.
If you cancel within 1 week of the Home Educator event, Eureka! will charge 50% of the total cost of your visit.
No refunds will be given if you cancel on the day of the event or simply don’t show up.
Cancellations must be sent in writing.
