Our technical team is the beating heart of our museum; ensuring that our site is safe, and that the building and hundreds of interactive exhibits are in full working order.
As a Site Assistant, your main priorities will be preparing outdoor areas for our visitors and maintaining the grounds throughout the day. This includes litter picking, emptying external bins, and keeping all site areas clean and tidy.
You will also provide a daytime security presence across the site, assisting the facilities team to maintain high standards of safety, security and appearance of the museum and site.
You will work on a rota which includes regular weekends and bank holidays.
We’d love to hear from you if you are qualified to GCSE standard or equivalent, with experience of working with the general public. Ideally we’re looking for someone who has a current SIA licence and is first aid trained. If you don’t have these but still feel you fit the bill please still apply, training can be provided.
